Appledon Avenue, Wentworth Falls
Renovation + Small Studio Workspace
This was an existing tired brick veneer home with not a lot of appeal. It was definitely time for a full home renovation. For the exterior we battened out all the existing brickwork and installed Burnt Vic Ash cladding boards. We had a custom garage door installed and continued to clad the door to give a seamless finish. From there we stripped the existing roof and replaced it with a new colorbond roof.
A new work studio was built in the backyard giving the owner somewhere they could escape to complete their work. New decks and ponds were also installed to accommodate the landscaping that was done at a later date.
Inside the home we removed a few structural walls to allow for an open plan kitchen, dining and Lounge area. The home was quite dark and in need of some natural light. Extras windows were installed to achieve this. Nothing original was left on the interior of this home.
