Matthew Brownjohn
Owner & Founder
Matt has eleven years experience in the construction industry and has worked on many different homes, commercial sites and multiplex sites. He was born and raised in the Blue Mountains and completed his carpentry apprenticeship in his home area.
After soaking up plenty of information from many skilled tradesmen and builders over the years Matt decided to branch out on his own as a sub-contract Carpenter. In this new role more responsibility had to be met to ensure he would be a viable member in the construction industry and therefore solidifying a good reputation for himself in his local area.From that point forward more time and effort was put in to gain a builders licence and the team started to grow. Over the last 3 years we have gone from one employee to six and a couple of trusted subcontract carpenters that work with us closely.
Dylan Barker
Site Foreman
Dylan has spent his whole working career in the custom home building industry. Beginning as an apprentice carpenter and progressing on to Site management roles, Dylan has hands-on experience with every aspect of home building from the ground up. He has a thorough understanding of what is required to deliver a project of the highest standard. He has a Cert III in carpentry and Cert IV in Building and construction.
His ability to problem solve and adapt to the specific needs and variable nature of each custom project aligns seamlessly with Brownjohn constructions’ core values.
